In this project, the living space becomes a stage where architecture, art, and materiality form a single emotional language. The interior is built on the contrast between pure geometry and rich textures — pink marble, matte wood, and soft fabric surfaces.
The central axis of the composition is defined by two opposing artworks that establish a dialogue between abstraction and the human form. One captures the movement of light on metal, the other portrays the warmth of the human body immersed in shadow. Together, they create a tension between cold materiality and sensual perception.
Light plays a leading role: vertical lighting lines emphasize the architecture and highlight the sculptural quality of the space. Each source of light acts as a brushstroke on a canvas, reinforcing the cinematic atmosphere of evening calm.
At the heart of the room stands a low pyramid-shaped table made of pink marble — an altar of materiality — around which sofas and armchairs are symmetrically arranged. This focal point conveys a sense of power and stability.
The kitchen, crafted from the same marble, continues the architectural rhythm of the living area and unites the space into a cohesive composition.
The project reflects the philosophy of SANTAL SA — creating interiors where objects become part of the architectural statement, and atmosphere emerges from subtle nuances of light, proportion, and material.
